Clay LINE stickers
Clay is a matte 3D style that looks like a photo of a figure kneaded by hand. Faint fingerprints remain on the surface, giving it the handmade feel of a stop-motion character. The samples show a green frog with a cream belly and a light blue baby elephant with small ears.

Good for
- Round, simple animals like frogs, elephants and bears. The squishy feel of kneaded clay comes through best.
- Mascots for a shop or classroom that want a handmade feel. It looks warmer than a picture drawn on a computer.
- Sets for family and children. Everyday texts like “snack time”, “lazing around” and “bath time” match the softness of clay.
- Sets of expressions with no text. Being 3D, actions like glancing sideways or looking down come out naturally, and the feeling gets across without words.
Tips
- Keep the description to shape and color. For example: “a light blue baby elephant with small ears”. Fine patterns and thin lines can’t be formed in clay, so think in round, chunky parts and it will look right.
- This style has no outline; it’s drawn on a green background and then cut out. Green parts are therefore drawn in a darker olive so they stay separate from the background; that olive is the color of the sample frog. For a vivid lime green, pick a style with lines.
- Body colors far from the background green (light blue, pink, yellow, brown, cream) cut out most cleanly and finish well.
- If you add text, keep it short. The text sits beside the clay character, so keep every text on a sheet to 3 characters or fewer (8 letters in English) and let the automatic big lettering show it off.
- Clay or 3D cartoon? Choose 3D cartoon for a smooth, glossy finish, and clay for a matte, handmade look with fingerprints left in.
FAQ
Can I use a character I made from real clay as a reference?
Yes. Add a photo of your clay figure under “Reference image (optional)” and we draw 8 that match its look. Hand-drawn illustrations and pet photos work the same way.
Can I make a green character?
Yes, but the green comes out as a darker olive. Stickers are drawn on a green background and then the background is removed, so a bright green that matches it can’t be used. A muted green like the sample frog is no problem.
Can animated stickers be in the clay style?
Yes. Choose “Animated” and pick Clay as the style for an APNG that moves like stop-motion animation. It follows the action in each box and carries no text. Each costs 2 credits.
