B&W manga LINE stickers
B&W manga is a colorless style drawn only with crisp pen lines, screentone and crosshatching. It’s the only one of the 8 styles with no color, so each sticker looks like a panel cut from a manga. The samples show a boy in glasses and a school uniform, and a girl with short hair and big headphones.

Good for
- Human characters like students and office workers. Uniforms, glasses and headphones come out crisp in the lines, so they look like manga characters.
- Reaction sets like “Whaaat?!”, “No way!” and “smug”. Tone and crosshatching suit exaggerated expressions, and the drama itself gets the laugh.
- Work and polite sets. Without color it looks calm, so texts like “Understood” and “Heading out, see you tomorrow” don’t feel out of place.
- Sets close to your own style if you draw manga or illustrations. Add a hand-drawn character as a reference image and we match 8 in black and white.
Tips
- Color instructions have no effect. This style uses only shades of gray, so “red hair” comes out as a dark gray tone. Describe brightness instead, such as “black hair” or “a white shirt”.
- Text is drawn in black and white too. Since it can’t stand out by color, keep it short; when every text on a sheet is 3 characters or fewer (8 letters in English), big lettering kicks in automatically.
- The lines are black and closed, so the background comes out cleanly transparent. White parts of the character match a white chat window, but the outline keeps them visible. Use “Preview in chat” to check how they look in dark mode too.
- Write plenty of features that lines can show: hairstyle, glasses, creases in clothes. Textures like “fluffy” and “glossy” don’t come through without color, so for texture go with 3D cartoon or watercolor.
FAQ
Can I add color to just one part?
No. B&W manga is drawn only in shades of gray, and a set uses one style throughout. For line art with color, make the set in 2D chibi or doodle.
Can I make a B&W manga character from a photo?
Yes. Add a photo of yourself or a hand-drawn illustration under “Reference image (optional)” and we draw a black-and-white character that captures its features. If someone else is in the photo, ask them first.
Can animated stickers be in the B&W manga style?
Yes. Choose “Animated” and pick B&W manga as the style. Your character moves the way each box describes, in black and white, exported as APNG. Animated stickers carry no text, and each costs 2 credits.
